Children's Sunday School

At First Baptist Church of Peoria we offer several educational opportunities for children.

Nursery - Childcare for infants is provided during both the worship and Sunday School hours
2 and 3 Year olds - Childcare for toddlers is provided during both the worship and Sunday School hours
Pre-K and Kindergarten Class
Primary Class (Grades 1-3)
Middle School (Grades 4-5)

For children 4 years and older, our PowerXPress program fosters the personal and spiritual growth of young people by experiencing God's Word through the 5 senses.

PowerXPress uses a learning station rotation model. Children rotate, by age group, to a different sense-related activity each week, including the Media Center. Through repetition and a variety of hands-on experiences, children have fun while learning stories of the Bible.

For the Summer months, children 4 - 8 years old are excused from worship to participate in a garden project.
