Psalms 145:4 One generation shall commend your works to another and shall declare your mighty acts.
A major expense has come to the forefront in terms of replacing our original 56-year-old boiler. This project was discussed at length at our June 5th business meeting. This and other future needs have prompted us to think more long-term in how our church will prosper and grow in the 21st century.
We hope you agree that FBC of Peoria has played an extremely important role in the development and support of your family’s spiritual and social lives. As we once again search for a new senior pastor to shepherd us through the next generation, We want to suggest that we again consider including FBC as part of our personal legacy. Several years ago assistance was offered by the FRUT Committee to both individuals and groups to assist families in exploring legacy opportunities. Once again FRUT has offered to help you and your family in your long-range financial planning with specific targeted memorials in areas such as music, Christian education, mission outreach, building maintenance, etc. Or, your will can simply direct a portion of your estate into a general endowment fund.
Please give FBC of Peoria your prayerful consideration as you make important end-of-life decisions regarding your health care, living wills, and estate beneficiaries. The office has helpful information available to those interested in estate planning, or you can meet with Charlie Barton or other members of the FRUT Committee for more personal assistance.
